Having not entered since 2019, Brough secured a victory in their first match of the East Riding Junior League with Tom Beetham and Charlie Thompson securing wins with Nathan Cunningham narrowly missing out agains Cottingham's captain Tom Anderson.

As reported, "Early days, but a great start to the Junior League season with some new names and new clubs looking like they mean business!"

Following the successful use of the academy tees  over the first few weeks of the 'Sprint to Spring', Will Mansford and Andy Price spent an evening installing the  academy tees in 3 locations per hole on the front 9.

If you find you are struggling from the bronze tees,, then the shorter course with purple tees is there to build from. Equally those finding the bronze too easy can test themselves by moving back to the silver tees. (Note, the silver tee locations are currently marked using purple discs until the silver ones arrive!)

A fantastic day saw  around 150  players  taking part and raising over £1,500 towards various projects including the academy tees, the junior room amongst others incentives. This is really the relaunch to the junior section with lots more to follow.

Thanks to Coversure Insurance Services, Advanced Plastics and The Water Hydraulics Company for sponsoring the event, and Pannal and Far Grange for providing the raffle prizes of a fourball to each of these courses.
